２０１１　韓国女性起業家代表団（ＷＨＷ）は、日本の女性起業家らと共に Global Sumｍit of Women　Initiativeとして 東日本大震災被害者に向けての支援活動を開始しました！

• 韓国女性起業家代表団が来日し、日本側の代表らと共に『東日本災害地域復興』ための戦略会議において今後の支援計画をたてます。
• 東日本大震災による被害者に対して、特に女性と子どもたちへの援助を目的とした緊急救済活動　（義援金および物資200,000ドル相当）を行います。

東日本大震災支援のために緊急結成されたWomen Help Women (WHW)－韓国女性支援チームーが、来る７月７日～８日まで来日し、日本代表団とともに被害地域の女性と子どもたちのための国際緊急救済活動を行います。

ま ず、韓国女性支援チーム（WHW）と日本女性起業家らによる代表団（世界女性会議代表団Global Summit of Women Initiative）は、ＧＳＷの意図として震災被害を受けた地域への復興、女性や子ども支援を具体的に実行へ移すために、日韓共同戦略会議を開き実効 性ある計画を議論し行動へ移してまいりたいと考えています。ＷＨＷは、過去数年に渡りＧＳＷと経済的協力関係を継続してきています。

また、今回の災害で親や家族を亡くした子どもたちのために養護施設や主な避難所に対し、義援金や日用品、衣料品、医薬品その他の生活補助品（200,000ドル相当）を寄付する予定です。

さらに今後５年間、韓国と日本チームは共に　“Global Summit of Women Initiative”として、中長期復興支援計画をもとに女性の企業経営者の支援を行う予定です。

 韓国女性支援チーム代表でありますソンジュグループ代表、金ソンジュ氏は、次のように語っています。「韓国女性支援チーム（WHW）は、同じ想いを持つ女 性たちと志を一つにしたいという気持ちから結成されました。今回の韓国女性支援チーム（WHW）の日本への人道的な支援活動を契機に、過去の暗い日韓関係 を整理して両国間の円滑な関係が回復するのであれば、大変意義あることになることでしょう。」

また金氏は、今回の生活物資支援を初めに今後被害をうけた女性経営者らを支援しながら更に教育や医療支援もしていきたい」と話しています。

WHW is a group of women business leaders in Korea which first organized in March, 2011 with the objectives to help women and children both physically and emotionally, who are suffering from the aftermath of the major Japanese earthquake on March 11th.
